On March 18, 2018, PSAD collaborated with Outdoors for All Foundation to host the event “Deaf Ski and Snowboard Day” at Snoqualmie Summit! This event was a huge success, we had thirteen local Deaf / HoH children sign up to learn how to ski/snowboard. Through ease of communication with the instructors (from OfA and the Deaf community), the students had a blast improving on their skiing/snowboarding skills. Also they enjoyed interacting with their peers and staff all day, including throwing snowballs at each other!Thank you OfA for making this event possible for the 2nd year in a row! We look forward to working together again next year.

The large center image is of the whole group, looking at the camera and smiling. In the top center, there is a box with the logo of Outdoors for All, text following it that says, “In collaboration with” then the PSAD logo, and more text, “proudly presented: Deaf Ski and Snowboard Day.
