PSAD History

PSAD proudly has been running over 125 years and is one of oldest deaf clubs in the world!

PSAD story started on July 4th, 1900 with a picnic at Mercer Island, where 35 people gathered together to form a society for Deaf people in the Salish Sea region. Since then, the association has been pillar of the D/DB/HH communities in the region, providing social opportunities, support, resources and a sense of belonging to countless individuals.
